Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!
Today’s post is all about the quaint fishing town of Looe in Cornwall, England. I have a very strong connection to Looe as my boyfriend lives there and of course I have visited many times. Sam’s parents actually owns shops on the Looe’s high street and they have an online store which you can checkout here.
Luckily the day of which I decided to do a post about Looe (which was long overdue) it was glorious sunshine and we decided to go for a lovely walk all around Looe and out to the headland on Hannafore. I didn’t take any pictures of the actual town centre with all of the shops (that can probably be for another blog post) but of the scenic routes, the best views I think are from the bridge especially when the tide is in.
Looe also has a little island off of its coast which my boyfriend and I often go kayaking around. Off the coast of the island you will normally find a seal colony which is amazing to see up close, if you want to see pictures of the seals I will link my blog post I did about them here. Don’t worry though if you don’t have a kayak or a boat there is local glass bottom boats that in the summer season take tourists out to the island to see the seals.
Looe is a lovely town to visit for a day, there is a soft sand safe beach and lovely walks for when the weather is good and lots of shops if it’s not so great. I hope you enjoyed this little blog post all about Looe.
Lots of love, Melissa x
