Lighthouse Clothing Collaboration

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, sorry long time no speak! Life just got a bit busy and so the blog had to go a bit on the back burner. However, I’m coming back with a very exciting blog post which in collaboration with Lighthouse Clothing

Who are Lighthouse Clothing?

Lighthouse Clothing are style led clothing brand for daily life and everyday adventures, whatever the weather. They cater for everyone, Ladies, Men and Kids. When they asked to collaborate with me I jumped at the chance as I thought the clothing fit so lovely with the Cornish style.

The Shore Sweatshirt

In this fist few images I’m wearing the Shore Sweatshirt in the colour Harbour Mist. I thought this jumper was the perfect addition to my outfit for our trip out on the boat to see the lugger regatta in Looe. The jumper as well as looking stylish and nautical kept me warm out on the water.

The Luggers

Watching all the Luggers was an amazing experience and one I highly recommend you do when they next visit! Although we had a bit of a hairy situation when coming back into the river. The wind steers the luggers using their sails, so one of them was meandering down the rather narrow river just in front of us. Luckily there were no collisions!

P.S Did you know that the reason these traditional fishing boats are named luggers is because you have to lug the sails up and down! A hard task I saw many people doing.

My Top picks

Short Bowline Jacket

My next pick was the Short Bowline Jacket in the colour Night Sky. This raincoat is a perfect addition to my wardrobe as it’s lightweight and showerproof making it great for the warmer months. We do still unfortunately get some rainfall here in Cornwall! If you’re stuck on what do when it rains you can always check out my blog post here.

What I also love about this jacket is the pin strip details on the sleeves and hood, making it stylish and in keeping with that nautical theme.

My top picks

Annabelle dress

Lastly I picked myself out this beautiful dress which is named Annabelle. I picked it up in the colour Midnight Dot but I also think it looks lovely in Soft Denim for more of a relaxed look.

This dress is a great quality dress which I think will be great for any job. I plan on wearing it into the studio as I think it is a perfect balance of fun yet sophisticated due to its length, thickness and cut. (If you didn’t know already my main job is a freelance graphic designer.)

However, as well as looking great on the 9-5. It is also a piece which can be worn for an evening stroll on the beach or for enjoying a Cornish cream tea. Always remember jam first!

Summary

I hope that you enjoyed this blog post and have found a new brand to stock up your quintessential Cornish gear. Many thanks to Lighthouse Clothing for gifting* me these items so that I could share them with you.
