Rosevine, Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall, England
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Todays post is all about the Rosevine which is a little hidden gem of mine. We often visit the Rosevine when it’s the height of summer to escape from all of the tourists. There is a lovely little beach a 10 minute walk to the left of Porthcurnick beach (at the bottom of the village) which is private and owned by a hotel on the headland.
The name
The Rosevine actually refers to the hotel overlooking Gerrans Bay however, in my family the name has stuck thanks to my Dad doing discos there. If anyone actually knows the name of the little hamlet surrounding the hotel could you let me know as the names on the building also refer to Rosevine (see pictured).
What to find
In this area of Cornwall you will find some beautiful homes and boutique hotels. It is situated on the Roseland Peninsula which means it is near Portscatho and St Mawes. There is also a loverly art gallery nearby which exhibits local artists in the village of Veryan.
