The Moth and Moon Cocktail Masterclass
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Todays post is all about a Cocktail Masterclass hosted by The Palm Tree Club and The Moth and Moon in Falmouth, Cornwall, England.
Welcoming drinks
In the masterclass we were welcomed by a Prosecco (or in my case orange and lemonade, haha.) We then made our way into the snug which is a private room beautifully decorated and the perfect size for a group of 10-12 people. The canapes provided by Avo Catering were so delicious and moreish. Prefect nibbles to wash down with our Prosecco.
The cocktail masterclass
Next was the main event which was the cocktail masterclass! I’ve never made cocktails before so I was a complete novice. However, Harvey was great at explaining and demonstrating each step to us. He was also extremely knowledgeable as he gave us a brief history about Cocktail.
Did you know that it is believed cocktails got its name as the glasses use to be adorned with a Cock’s feather.
The first cocktail we made was a Pornstar Martini, apparently Britain’s most ordered cocktail! If you would like to see more of the process head over to my instagram and look under brands.
What this cocktail masterclass would be perfect for
I would highly recommend this master class to anyone wanting a slightly different night out with friends. The cocktail masterclass also allows you to learn something new!
I also think this cocktail masterclass would also be perfect for networking or team building events, as it’s great for breaking the ice (quite literally!)
